Surface as a design element

In contemporary bathroom design, surfaces are no longer simple coverings, but active elements within the composition. Edoné textures are born from this perspective: surface treatments capable of transforming doors, fronts and storage volumes into material presences, where light, shadow and tactile perception contribute to shaping the space. It is not simply a matter of choosing a finish, but of identifying the rhythm best suited to the project: more regular and graphic, deeper and more natural, more accessible and versatile, or more geometric and sculptural. Veneziana, Capri, Cheope and Polimerico Cannettato each interpret tridimensionality in a different way, offering architects and interior designers versatile tools for creating coherent, highly personalized bathroom environments full of character.

Veneziana: regular rhythm and the interplay of solids and voids

Veneziana is one of the most recognizable textures in the Edoné world. Its name recalls the rhythm of solids and voids typical of the shading systems from which it takes inspiration, reinterpreted through a vertical surface marked by regular reliefs. The final effect is ordered and elegant, capable of introducing movement without interrupting the overall purity of the design. Light flows across the material creating soft and continuous shadows that enrich both the tactile and visual perception of the furniture. For this reason, Veneziana works particularly well in compositions where the front becomes an architectural element, especially when the goal is to emphasize a rhythmic reading of the surface. Available in the catalogue finishes, from wood essences to matte lacquered versions, it allows projects to move between natural tones and more contemporary, expressive palettes.

Capri: natural depth and material movement

Capri introduces a freer, more organic and material dimension to the furniture surface. Presented in Heat-Treated Oak, it is created through a solid wood milling process designed to reproduce, in a stylized way, the ridges of the island coastline from which it takes its name. Compared to Veneziana, its reading is less regular and more natural: the reliefs guide the eye through a softer, deeper and almost landscape-like movement. It is a texture that enhances the warmth of wood and amplifies its presence, especially in the intense tones of Heat-Treated Oak. To the touch it conveys a full and deeply tridimensional sensation; visually it introduces a strong sense of movement, ideal for projects in which the bathroom furniture becomes a focal element without losing balance and refinement.

Cheope: geometry, light and tridimensionality

Cheope introduces a sharper, more geometric and contemporary tridimensionality. Dedicated to Edoné wood finishes, it stands out for its triangular-section pattern obtained through a milling process. The reference to fluted surfaces remains visible, but is reinterpreted through a more incisive design: not a simple sequence of grooves, but an alternation of inclined planes capable of capturing light precisely and generating more defined shadows. The result is a surface with a strong architectural character, particularly effective on essential volumes and rigorous geometries. Cheope adds depth, definition and a strong visual presence, while maintaining the formal balance that allows the texture to dialogue naturally with different materials, colours and accessories.

Polimerico Cannettato: fluted surfaces in a more accessible interpretation

Polimerico Cannettato interprets tridimensional surfaces through a different, more versatile and accessible approach. Linked to the Eros collection, it brings the appeal of fluted surfaces into the Edoné catalogue through a solution completely detached from wood, enhancing the technical qualities of pressed polymeric material. The vertical rhythm is regular, slim and continuous: an immediate graphic sign capable of giving depth to the front while maintaining clean profiles and great versatility across different contexts. It is a texture designed to respond to the latest market trends while remaining coherent with the Edoné aesthetic: essential, ordered, customizable in the lacquered colours available in the catalogue and ideal for compositions where elegance and functionality must remain perfectly balanced.

Four textures, four different ways of interpreting material. From the regular rhythm of Veneziana to the natural strength of Capri, from the sharper geometry of Cheope to the accessibility of Polimerico Cannettato, Edoné expands the possibilities of customization and transforms surfaces into a true design tool.
