Before the Christmas break, it is once again time for reflections at Edoné. If 2024 closed with the introduction of the Wellness line and the first interpretations of Bath‑Living, 2025 has been the year in which this vision translated into even more concrete tools for designers.
At the centre is the new Giunone catalogue—updated and redesigned to naturally interact with Bath‑Living vertical structures: floor‑standing cabinets, curved volumes, laundry modules and technical columns, all working together to create equipped walls that connect the bathroom with adjacent spaces in a single, coherent narrative of materials and proportions.
Together with Luigi Fabrici, CEO of Edoné, we look back at a 2025 shaped by product design, organization and people—another year in which the bathroom confirms its role as a connected, coordinated and increasingly central living space within the contemporary home.
“If we look at 2025 in continuity with 2024, we clearly see the difference between preparing the ground and harvesting the first results,” begins Luigi Fabrici. “Last year we opened a new chapter, developing new elements of the range and a different way of interpreting the bathroom space, setting the foundations for a broader and more integrated design narrative.
In 2025 we worked to make this vision more readable and concrete: on one hand with Giunone, which pushes the modularity of floor‑standing furniture to its full potential; on the other with vertical systems and complements that bring order, continuity and identity to real interiors. It has been an intense year in which we preferred a few strong messages over many fragmented novelties: consolidating what works, strengthening designers’ tools and making our proposal even more recognizable.”
“Italy remains our first showcase, but this year we significantly strengthened our presence abroad. Performance across Europe was solid and in line with market trends, while results in the United States were particularly encouraging, where our design flexibility was highly appreciated. Wherever a high‑end, tailor‑made approach is required, our ability to personalize each project makes a real difference. Made in Italy is not just a label—it is a promise of uniqueness that the international market continues to seek.”
“The new Giunone catalogue finally brings together everything this collection is capable of,” explains Fabrici. “We’re talking about floor‑standing units with solid volumes, pure storage modules, lighter consoles, curved elements, side panels and the entire Giunone laundry universe. To these we added a series of smart solutions designed for niches, recesses, guest bathrooms and service areas—created to respond to the real situations we encounter in projects.”
“The idea is to offer designers a single catalogue that covers a wide range of needs: from the main bathroom to open‑plan laundry areas, down to compact rooms and transition spaces. Giunone remains a transversal collection, but in 2025 it has above all become a practical working tool: thanks to its variety of solutions—floor‑standing units, storage modules, consoles, curved elements and laundry modules—it is now easier to design coherent, well‑balanced layouts, even when the floorplan is not ideal or when multiple functions must coexist on the same wall.”
“Bath‑Living is the grammar through which we organize vertical space,” explains Fabrici. “It is a family of columns, semi‑columns and equipped elements designed to grow in height, give rhythm to the walls and at the same time resolve technical needs: managing installations, wall‑mounted taps, drainage points that aren’t ideally positioned—greatly easing renovation work. Semi‑columns act as true technical hinges, while columns and equipped walls multiply storage capacity and help build ordered, readable fronts.”
“Bath‑Living interacts with the entire Edoné universe: it can accompany collections like Chrono, Calipso, Artemide or more compact solutions; it integrates with the Wellness world and coordinates with washbasins, mirrors and accessories. This gives designers a single design language that can extend from the bathroom to the corridor, laundry area or a niche in the living room—without breaks in materials or proportions. It responds to a clear trend we see in today’s projects: different spaces, one unified identity.”
“In line with Edoné’s distinctive style, 2025 also marked the debut of Balance. Four new porcelain stoneware colors, perfectly matched with four coordinating melamine, create a full total‑colour effect throughout the project. It is an additional tool that reinforces our commitment to clean, elegant and perfectly coordinated design—combined with maximum functional versatility.”
“Our data shows that consumers increasingly seek warmth without giving up aesthetic clarity. In terms of collections, Giunone—with its new catalogue—had an immediate impact, confirming its first position in global sales. Calipso, presented at the 2024 Salone del Mobile, has been the line that brought us the greatest satisfaction this year. Defined by soft or rigorous forms depending on whether the Circular or Squared terminal is used, Calipso achieved remarkable results. Our competitors noticed too, introducing very similar collections shortly after—clear proof that once again Edoné has been able to innovate and anticipate trends in the bathroom world. As for materials, natural wood—especially textured ones like Capri, Veneziana and Cheope—made a strong comeback, particularly in dark tones such as Rovere Termotrattato and Eucalipto. But the real shift has been in color: there was a clear preference for warm neutrals such as Talpa, Melange and Camoscio, which far outperformed whites and cooler greys. This confirms that the bathroom is increasingly perceived as a relaxing extension of the Bath‑Living area.”
“We don’t like empty promises—we prefer facts. The goals we announced in 2024 regarding the progressive elimination of plastics and polystyrene from packaging have become daily practice throughout 2025. This year, we also equipped our facilities with a 300 kW photovoltaic system with storage, which now covers almost the entire energy needs of our production site. It was a major investment, both financially and environmentally. Producing using clean energy is a moral obligation for any company. But sustainability also means durability. Designing bathroom furniture that resists wear is the first true form of environmental respect. We do not believe in planned obsolescence—our products are made to remain beautiful and functional over time. And if they’re produced using clean energy, all the better, right?”
“2026 will be the year we bring many of our current insights to life. Our focus will remain on innovation, especially in material research applied to countertops and wall surfaces. We are working on integrating natural‑origin materials enhanced with treatments that improve durability and hygiene while minimizing maintenance. We want the user experience to become even more rewarding and, at the same time, increasingly sustainable. We will also continue investing in the wellbeing of our people, because an excellent product can only be born in a healthy, stimulating workplace.
Happy holidays to all.”
