Chrono 44: chosen for a villa in the Abruzzo countryside

Veneziana and Botte textures create continuity throughout the interiors, extending the project's material language into the bathrooms.

A specific vision for a distinctive atmosphere

Set within the Abruzzo countryside, this private single-storey villa was designed around a minimal yet warm and refined aesthetic. The designer sought to highlight the expressive quality of materials such as stone, resin, metal and wood, allowing each one to contribute to the overall character of the interiors.
The house is organised into three distinct yet connected volumes. The central body accommodates the dining area, linking the living space on one side with the sleeping quarters on the other. Large glazed openings in the living area blur the boundary between indoors and outdoors, creating visual continuity with the surrounding garden and reinforcing the dialogue between architecture and landscape. A unifying feature throughout the project is the extensive use of textured wood finishes on walls and surfaces, establishing a coherent material identity across every room.

PRODUCT FOCUS

Among the many solutions available on the market, what convinced you to choose Edoné?
The wood textures offered by Edoné were the perfect complement to the other elements featured throughout the project, including the boiserie and bespoke furnishings. The moment I saw them, I had no doubts—they were exactly what I had been looking for.

Was there a specific project requirement that made Edoné's extensive customisation options particularly valuable?
Absolutely. The possibility of using both the Veneziana and Botte textures in the same colour made choosing these Edoné units even easier. The range of available solutions is so extensive that it adapts effortlessly even to very specific design requirements, exactly as it did in this project.

How did you first discover our brand?
I first came across Edoné in a showroom, long before this project began. There was a display featuring Edoné products and I immediately fell in love with the style. The retailer introduced me to the brand and gave me a brochure. From then on, I kept following Edoné's new collections through the website and social media. So when I started working on this project, I already knew I could rely on Chrono 44. Luckily, the collection was also on display in the showroom, allowing my client to experience the furniture firsthand and appreciate the solution I had envisioned.

What is your favourite detail of the Edoné solutions you selected?
The elegance of the full-height, reduced-depth vanity units. I was particularly impressed by how practicality and functionality combine with a design full of personality, without compromising style or visual appeal.

Is there a final thought you would like to leave us with?
Edoné represents the perfect balance between design and functionality. The beauty of its materials, textures and forms transforms the bathroom into one of the true highlights of any project. I am extremely satisfied with the choice we made.
